The Somerset ISD Education Foundation Innovative Grant Application is open to Somerset ISD staff.  

This year’s grant application limit is $3500.

It is my pleasure to issue the Somerset ISD Education Foundation’s 2025 “Call for
Grants”. 

 As we enter into our 17th year as an education foundation, the members continue working hard to raise money for education in our community. The funds they raise will be awarded in the form of grants designated to the educator or group of educators who propose innovative programs which would not normally be funded through tax revenue.  

Key Dates:

• Call for Grants:  March 6, 2025
• Deadline for Submission:  April 25, 2025

Following the due date, applications will be reviewed by a committee comprised of foundation members, district staff and representatives from the community. 

Winners will be notified in September of 2025. Grant monies are funded from September 2025
through March 2026 and must be expended or encumbered by March 6, 2026. Final evaluation
reports will be due by May 22, 2026.
